All memberships are NON-TRANSFERABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE.

All members must be over 18 to avail themselves of the facilities and services provided at Sky Spirit Fitness Lounge.

Sky Spirit Fitness Lounge is a private members club and the management reserves the right to refuse membership to any individual without giving any reason whatsoever. Memberships may be renewed on payment of the annual fee and in accordance with the terms and conditions then in force.

On acceptance of an application for membership, the member will be issued with a membership key card, which will remain the property of the club at all times. Upon termination of membership, this will be returned immediately to the club. All members must produce their membership keycard on each visit to the club. Entry will not be permitted without a membership key card. An appropriate charge is made for the replacement of lost membership key cards at reception.

Members wishing to report on accidents, incidents or problems with services at the club should contact the Executive Manager on sarah@skyspiritmalta.com. In the event of a breach, of membership rules or regulations by a member, the club reserves the right to refuse him/her entry into the Club and Management may also, at any time, ask any member or their guest to leave the premises, for any reason whatsoever.

Freezing memberships

Freezing is only applicable on the 6 month or annual memberships and cannot exceed a 60 day period. Memberships bought under special offers or discounted cannot be extended for any reason whatsoever.  The freezing period is given only if the member produces sufficient proof that either he/she is unable to attend the gym because of medical reasons. Cosmetic surgery is not considered as a medical procedure, therefore is not subject for freezing.

Membership will be freezed if an original medical certificate is presented and states that the mentioned member cannot make use of the gym for a minimum of 30 days. Freezing of membership will be also granted to members who during a 6 month or annual membership get pregnant. Membership can be freezed to a maximum of 6 months. (A medical certificate will suffice). Freezing of membership will not incur any extra cost.

Class Packages

Classes are subject to change every quarter as per management discretion. Class packages cannot be extended, transferred or refunded. Any classes not used within the expiry date will automatically be lost. Classes need to be booked at all  costs. Bookings are on first come first serve basis and certain classes will be limited to a specific number due to safety reasons. members are to present their dongle and swipe it once for entry.

Lockers

Lockers are provided for the use of members and their guests. Lockers may not be used overnight. The club has the right to open any lockers and have all contents removed. Removal of such items is strictly at the member’s own risk. Padlocks may be purchased at reception. In the interest of safety and security please use the lockers provided. The club is not liable or responsible for any goods taken from the changing rooms, gym area, studios or lockers.

COVID-19 Terms& Conditions

These are our new policies for re-opening on Friday 5th June 2020 as per Government Conditions & Guidelines.

  • We shall be limiting entrance to the club to 75 members at one go
  • All members have a maximum workout time of 1 hour
  •  All member must keep a 3m distance from each other
  •  All members must enter the premises with a mask and this is to be removed only whilst working out 
  • Temperature will be checked upon entry and if an individual displays symptoms that the temperature is higher than 37.2, the individual will strictly not be allowed to enter the club
  • After the temperature is taken, the individual must sanitize his/her hands with the sanitizer provided
  • All clients must bring their own large towel which is mandatory
  • Use of changing room & shower facilities is allowed
  • Machines need to be sanitized before and after use with sanitizer provided
  • Members cannot train without a hand towel
  • Memberships bought are non transferable and non refundable 
  • Memberships will not be extended if they are not being used

Pilates

Pilates is the perfect class for people of all ages. The movements are designed to tone the body, improve posture, balance and joint mobility. Pilates is also popular with athletes since it helps them develop whole body strength and flexibility which help reduce the risk of injury.

What sets Pilates apart is its focus on toning the muscles with springs, bands, or your own body weight. Pilates demands intense focus, the way that exercises are done is more important than the exercises themselves. Pilates aims for elegant economy of movement, creating flow through the use of appropriate transitions. Once precision has been achieved, the exercises are intended to flow within and into each other in order to build strength and stamina. In other words, the Pilates technique asserts that physical energy exerted from the center should coordinate movements of the extremities. The stability ball, light weights, and resistance bands are some of the equipment used during the class.
