Low intensity workout, ideal for beginners

This beginner Pilates exercise program is designed to help you build a strong foundation in the Pilates method. Our classes are an hour long and unlike some forms of exercise, Pilates does not over-develop some parts of the body and neglect others.

Bums & Thighs
Moderate Level
Medium intensity workout, get ready to sweat!

Our equation starts with the five classic moves to target the glutes most effectively: lunges, single-leg squats, hip extensions, step-ups and side leg lifts. We then added a little complexity and dimension to each move by incorporating the principles of mobility and stability characteristic of all Sky Spirit programming.

Sky Spirit Body Pump is short bursts of resistance exercise using moderate weights/body weight/resistance equipment and frequent repetitions, followed by quickly another burst of exercise targeting a different muscle group.

Bums & Thighs

We then added a little complexity and dimension to each move by incorporating the principles of mobility and stability characteristic of all Sky Spirit programming.

Our LB&T classes are basically a full body aerobic workout building in a whole series of exercises aimed at specifically toning up your legs, bum and tum. These are notoriously the worst parts of your body when it comes to shifting fat, so by targeting them one after the other you’re tacking all three key problem areas in one fun-packed but very effective class. You’ll start with a warm up, then finish with a stretch and cool down and in between the instructor will take you through a variety of different exercises.

There will be crunches for your tum, lunges, jumps and more for your legs and plenty of squats for your bum. By the time it’s over you’ll be sweating and breathless, but with a big smile on your face too. Yes, there is a fair bit of effort involved, but it’s all worth it.
