HIIT is a Super-efficient and ideal workout for a busy schedule—whether you want to squeeze in a workout during a 30 minute slot or to get in shape for a fast-approaching event.

This class is held on:

tuesday from 07:00 till 07:30
tuesday from 12:30 till 13:00
friday from 08:15 till 08:45
saturday from 14:00 till 14:30

For those of you who aren’t familiar with HIIT, it involves intervals of high-intensity exercise at 90% of your max heart rate followed by low intensity or complete rest. This is in sharp contrast to the typical steady-state cardio most people do at a moderate intensity,
The major reason HIIT works so well for dropping body fat is due to the greater calorie burn (or EPOC—excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) that’s maintained after the workout is over.

While the major benefit of this 30 minute workout is rapid fat loss, you can have other benefits . Performing this work out and doing it with progressively shorter rest periods will increase muscle endurance, which will boost your conditioning.
The magic of HIIT lies its ability to keep you burning fat even after you leave the gym. In short, your body isn’t able to bring in enough oxygen during periods of hard work. Therefore, you accumulate a “debt” of oxygen that must be repaid post-workout in order to get back to normal. The result — your metabolism is revved for hours!

‘The Circuit’ is short bursts of resistance exercise using moderate weights/body weight/resistance equipment and frequent repetitions, followed by quickly another burst of exercise targeting a different muscle group.

Pilates

Pilates is the perfect class for people of all ages. The movements are designed to tone the body, improve posture, balance and joint mobility. Pilates is also popular with athletes since it helps them develop whole body strength and flexibility which help reduce the risk of injury.

What sets Pilates apart is its focus on toning the muscles with springs, bands, or your own body weight. Pilates demands intense focus, the way that exercises are done is more important than the exercises themselves. Pilates aims for elegant economy of movement, creating flow through the use of appropriate transitions. Once precision has been achieved, the exercises are intended to flow within and into each other in order to build strength and stamina. In other words, the Pilates technique asserts that physical energy exerted from the center should coordinate movements of the extremities. The stability ball, light weights, and resistance bands are some of the equipment used during the class.
